July 2025 gave us the most unforgettable Florida holiday, and staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge made it extra special. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and the food was absolutely incredible. Waking up surrounded by wildlife really did feel like something out of a dream.

Disney transport was a huge win for us — regular, efficient and stress-free, even with children. One day we even managed to do three parks in one day, which felt like a real achievement and just shows how well everything runs. Every afternoon, we returned to our hotel to use the pool and cool off, which was perfect after busy mornings in the parks.

The Disney Dining Plan was honestly a game-changer. Not having to think about food costs or cooking after long park days made the whole trip so much more relaxing. With children, it took away so much pressure and let us just enjoy the experience.

We also spent a day at NASA, as there was a rocket launch planned. Sadly, it was aborted with just three seconds left on the countdown, which was such a shame as we were all so excited — but being there and feeling the atmosphere was still incredibly special.

The water parks were so much fun, with Blizzard Beach being my personal favourite and the perfect way to cool off in the Florida heat.

When it comes to rides, Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios was my personal favourite — absolutely next level. However, my children’s favourite was TRON, which they rode at night in the dark, making it even more thrilling and unforgettable.

Whilst we were there, it was also my son’s birthday, and he built his own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop — such a special experience and a memory we’ll treasure forever.

We also visited Universal Studios, which was an incredible experience. Hogwarts was amazing, and meeting all the characters throughout the park really brought the magic to life.

And of course, the fireworks at Magic Kingdom… honestly, they were the best fireworks I have ever experienced — emotional, magical, and the perfect way to end our Disney days.

For dining, Sanaa was unforgettable. Eating dinner while watching giraffes and other animals just the other side of the glass was such a unique and magical experience — one of those moments you’ll remember forever.

Overall, this holiday was truly incredible, full of magical memories, and something I would highly recommend. And while Animal Kingdom Lodge is a Deluxe Disney hotel, I’m happy to help plan any Disney or Florida holiday to suit all budgets, making sure you still get the best possible experience for your family.

If Florida is on your wish list, I’d love to help make it happen 🧡✈️
